Corrections Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

We work hard to get things right. When we don’t, we correct the record promptly and transparently.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] with “Correction” in the subject line, or use our contact form and choose “Correction request”. Please include:

  • the article link,
  • what you believe is wrong, and
  • evidence or a source for the correct information, if you have it.

We review every correction request, usually within two working days.

How we correct

  • Factual errors are corrected in the article, and a correction note is added at the end of the article stating what was changed and when.
  • Significant errors that change the meaning of a story are noted at the top of the article as well.
  • Minor fixes such as typos, grammar or broken links that do not change the meaning are made without a note.
  • Updates that add new information are shown with an “Updated” date.

We do not quietly delete articles to hide errors. If an article is removed for legal or safety reasons, we will say so where we can.

Disagreements

If we decide no correction is needed, we will explain why. You can ask for the decision to be reviewed by the editor.
