Pointales is free to read. We fund our work through advertising, sponsored content and, in some articles, affiliate links. This page explains how each works and how we keep it separate from our journalism.
Advertising
Display advertisements are marked “Advertisement”. Advertisers do not influence our coverage and do not see stories before publication. We do not run pop-up or interstitial ads.
Sponsored content
Some articles are produced in partnership with, or paid for by, a sponsor. These articles:
- carry a visible “Sponsored” label and the line “In partnership with [Sponsor]” above the headline,
- end with a disclosure statement naming the sponsor,
- mark external links with
rel="sponsored", - are never included in our Editor’s Picks or Trending lists.
Pointales keeps editorial control over sponsored content, and it must meet our Editorial Policy.
Affiliate links

What we don’t do
