Pitch Us
We welcome pitches from journalists, analysts and practitioners with real expertise and something useful to say. Send a pitch, not a finished article.
What we look for
- Business and technology stories that explain something clearly: how it works, why it is happening, and what it means.
- Original work. Your own reporting, analysis or first-hand expertise, not previously published elsewhere, including on your own site.
- Evidence. Claims backed by primary sources, data or documents you can share with us.
- A point. A clear takeaway the reader will not easily find elsewhere.
What we don’t accept
- Promotional articles, press releases presented as features, or content written to place links.
- Requests to add links to existing articles, or to buy “guest posts”.
- AI-generated articles, or content you did not write yourself.
- Gambling and betting, adult content, speculative crypto promotions, and anything misleading or unlawful.
Conflicts of interest
Tell us about any relationship with the companies, people or products in your pitch: employment, clients, investments, payments or gifts. We may still publish, with a disclosure, or we may decline.
How it works
- Send your pitch with the form below: the idea, why now, your sources, and your relevant experience.
- If it is a fit, an editor will reply to agree the angle, length and deadline. We can’t reply to every pitch individually.
- Pointales edits every piece for accuracy, clarity, length and style, and may ask for revisions or decline to publish.
- Published contributors receive an author page under their real name.
Pointales does not charge for publication, and we do not accept payment from contributors or third parties in exchange for publishing an article.
